 Islamic Center of Little Rock Welcome I.C.L.R was established in 1992 in the Little Rock area to fullfill the Muslim Community's religious,educational,social and cultural needs.The center offers a place to pray, (Islamic School, Sunday & Summer School) at Huda Academy, Marriage Services, Funeral Services, Quranic and Arabic Teachings etc. |

The ICLR monthly meeting for the month of Novemeber will be held InshaAllah on Saturday, Nov 8, 2008. Maghrib 5:30 p.m
Dinner: 5:45 p.m.
Isha: 7:00 p.m.
Speech: 7:15 p.m.
Open Discussion: 7:45 p.m. Eid-ul-Adha party day and time: 12/14 starting 4:30, dinner at 5:00 at Clear Channel.
On Eid party we'll update it when we get closer to the Eid time. |

I.C.L.R was established in 1992 in the Little Rock area to fullfill the Muslim Community's religious,educational,social and cultural needs. The active members of the community at that time purchasd the current locations,initially an old house and expanded it buy buying adjacent houses. Alhumdulillah, the constructions of the present site started in May,1994 and was completed in January.1996. Later on,the property across from our new Masjid was purchased and a new building for an Islamic school under the name of Huda academy was established. At present the ICLR is planning to build a Muslim Community Center and expand the Huda Academy.May Allah help us in complepting these projects (Ameen) |

"O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqun (the pious).
(Fasting) for a fixed number of days, but if any of you is ill or on a journey, the same number (should be made up) from other days. And as for those who can fast with difficulty, (i.e. an old man, etc.), they have (a choice either to fast or) to feed a poor person (for every day). But whoever does good of his own accord, it is better for him. And that you fast, it is better for you if only you know." (2:183-84) |
